What the Franchisor Won't Tell You
Most franchise agreements are not written in favor of the franchisee.

Some parts of the franchise agreement are negotiable.
Banks know the failure rate of every franchise before they invest in them, SO SHOULD YOU.

If you are successful, some franchisors will put a franchise right next to you. This will hurt your sale, but grow their royalties and help them saturate the market.

I'll never forget the words she told me through her sobbing: "They're taking my house." She was forced to declare bankruptcy and was going through the process of having her assets sold off by a judge to pay off the franchisor for the settlement amount. I hung up the phone in disillusionment.. I asked myself, "How many people does this happen to every day?"
