Founder Bryan Pease, with over 20 years in the hospitality industry was president of the largest non-taxi transportation fleet in Southwest Florida. This company focused exclusively on the group transportation and hotel guest needs of Fortune 500 companies holding their meetings in this high-brow affluent community. The impact of September 11 severely impacted the hospitality industry in Naples and it was Pease's feeling that it would take several years for the business to reach pre-September 11 sales numbers. He recommended that because a substantial amount of gain had been received by him and his two partners that they each decide to go in different directions and have an organized closure of the company. In the process of selling the vehicles, Pease was not happy with the price offered for one of his motorcoaches and so he went on E-bay to see if he was out of line. There, he saw a school bus painted like NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon's car. Pease commented to his then 13 year old son, "Maybe we should enjoy the fruit of my labor and tour the NASCAR summer circuit by painting the bus like a stock car." After further consideration, he determined the age of the bus would not make it conducive to travel long distances. His son commented, "What about a limo." Thus the concept of a race-themed limousine was born, which was then trademarked and patented.
